Progression
This qualification has a progression pathway to the Level 2 Qualification in Community Sports Leadership.
Pupils accessing the Sports programme here at The Aspire Academy will follow the three ‘I’s framework: INTENT, IMPLEMENTATION & IMPACT.
We have created a framework to outline the critical points that surround participation, development and competition. It aims to help pupils to achieve their full sporting potential as well as to encourage all pupils to participate in sport and physical activity for life. This framework focuses on the many factors for sport participation, including physical literacy, pedagogy, psychology, specialisation, trainability, emotional growth, and much more.
PE, sport and fitness staff will aim to integrate this framework into their professional delivery to maximise the progress of the pupils, help to preserve the joy of sport, understand the foundations provided for development beyond secondary education, as well as to appreciate development throughout life.
