Purpose Statement
To provide an alternative educational pathway for pupils across the county who are struggling in their current settings, CME or EHE helping them re-engage with learning, achieve meaningful qualifications, and progress confidently into post-16 education or specialist provision.
Vision
To ensure that every young person who is disengaged or at risk of exclusion is given the opportunity to re-engage in meaningful learning, achieve recognised qualifications, and transition into a sustainable post-16 destination that reflects their strengths and aspirations. We want to offer a Parallel programme that aligns to the content delivered in school.
Programme Summary
The programme was established in response to the growing need for suitable education settings for pupils who are finding it difficult to thrive in mainstream schools or who may be missing education or previously elected home educated and looking to re-engage. Working closely with the Local Authority, we provide a supportive and flexible learning environment for pupils who are at risk of, or have experienced, permanent exclusion.
Through a blend of online and in-person tuition, pupils receive at least 15 hours of education in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science, alongside vocational and skills-based opportunities in areas like mechanics, hair and beauty, sport and construction. We also support pupils with SEN referrals, exam access, and post-16 transition planning to ensure every learner has a clear next step.
Our goal is simple: every student who engages with the programme leaves with an accredited qualification in English and Maths and a clear post-16 destination that reflects their strengths and aspirations.

Every pupil will have the opportunity to sit Entry Level or Functional Skills Exams
